Posted on October 11, 2013

My office has filed a wrongful death case against the makers of OxyELITE Pro. We way that a young healthy woman died from this product, which at the time had DMAA. News this week about a nationwide story involving the new formulation of this product:

The state of Hawaii is ordering stores to remove the dietary supplement OxyELITE Pro from their shelves. The dietary supplement has been linked to a surge in Hawaii in the number of cases of serious liver damage by many who took it for weight loss or muscle gain. Stores are prohibited from selling, shipping or discarding the product, state Department of Health spokeswoman Janice Okubo said. Stores are ordered to keep the product in storage while the investigation is under way. Inspectors are visiting stores statewide  to ensure shelves are cleared of the supplement.
